Rehabilitation
Heading into 2026, physical rehabilitation progresses alongside a renewed focus in my photography.
Many of these images were captured during slow walks around my neighborhood and my in-laws’ residence. These outings, initially purely recovery exercises, became opportunities to re-engage with photography and image-making.
By intentionally moving selected negatives during the scanning process, ‘fractures’ are introduced to the final images - a visual echo of diminished strength and subsequent recalibration.
2026年を迎え、身体のリハビリを進めると同時に、写真撮影にも新たな焦点を当てています
これらの写真の多くは、近所や義理の両親の家をゆっくりと散歩しているときに撮影したものです。当初は単なる回復のための運動だったこれらの外出は、写真とイメージ制作に再び取り組む機会となりました
スキャンの過程で、特定のネガを意図的に動かすことで、最終的な画像に「ひび割れ」が生まれます。これは、衰えた筋力とその後の再調整を視覚的に反映しています
