Shots from a recent portrait shoot. I have been shooting in B&W a lot recently, partly influenced by masters Winogrand, Araki and Koudelka but also to save money (4x5 colour processing can be pricey!).
Making these photographs made me realise how much I missed shooting in colour. I see the world differently when I know I have colour film loaded in my cameras. A regression to an infant-like state where bright yellows and reds are enough to satisfy my photographic curiosity - a great feeling!
