My new blog! I switched to this more minimal design, due to its white backdrop and larger images.
I spent my Obon break in Nagoya. I took a lot of photographs but am only really happy with the following shots. A good sign I think - photographs I would have taken five years ago, I would never even contemplate taking these days. My standards have raised as I am exposed to more and more quality images.
And on the subject of quality photographs, let me introduce you to Junku Nishimura (pictured below). If you haven’t heard of him, be sure to check out his work here. His photographs of the tsunami aftermath are powerful and hauntingly beautiful.
