In other news, the island’s summer festivals have begun and the rock band I play in seem to be lined up to play at every one of them! Japan’s summer festivals or “natsu matsuri” are THE event of the year – amazing fireworks, beautiful yukatas and plenty of beer. I’ll be sure to post plenty of photos later in the month!
